"An amazing food delivery service"

An amazing food delivery service. Always on time and delicious. To be honest, i was skeptical when i first signed up. But have not regretted the decision even a little. Great for convenience and times when i don’t want even think about what i will be eating. Offering a free trial too, i cannot see a downside for trying them out.

"The food is seriously amazing"

The food is seriously amazing!! The portions are just the right size so you don’t still feel hungry after. Everything I have tried has been delicious. Plus they make things healthier by using veggie products in place of regular starches. The cauliflower noodle pasta dishes and cauliflower mash are outstanding! The food comes packed very nicely and always cold upon arrival so you can feel confident that food safety really does matter to this company. I highly recommend this food service!

"Access Problem"

I had a problem accessing my account but PJ really took care of me. He was very professional and friendly. He took care of my problem super fast and I can't thank him enough.

"Disappointing, especially for vegetarians"

I found Freshly really disappointing. They have so many options - if you eat meat. If you're vegetarian, you have to order the same meals over and over again, which I was sick of after just 2 weeks; and they only add 1-2 new options each month. The food was inconsistent - the distribution of ingredients was sometimes way off, with thick slices of onion making up 50% of the falafel bowl multiple times. The food itself was either bland or strange-tasting, with odd ingredients sometimes added to things (like butternut squash and carrots making the marinara sauce taste nothing like tomatoes). I often ended up with meals I didn't want to eat because it forces you to finalize the next week's order before you have a chance to try the current week's meals. We had been super excited to have quick, healthy lunches each day, but ended up discontinuing the service after a few weeks.

"Based on what I read here"

Based on what I read here, people saying Freshly is 5 star either have a very low standard for food or they are plants to give fake reviews. It really tastes like the dinners are frozen at some point. The veggies are mushy. Mashed potatoes are for sure like instant potatoes. The meat comes out ok because that can be frozen. Not worth $17 including shipping per meal. Go to your local restaurant and get a really fresh meal for about the same price.

"I placed an order for 6 meals"

I placed an order for 6 meals, all went well. But skipped the rest of the weeks I saw on the screen. A month later, late at night I see a charge from Freshly for another 6 meals that I did not order or wanted. I did not know about the auto renewal shipments. I have been in contact via chat and email with them to cancel this delivery and refund the pending charge. To no vail, they claim I canceled subscription and they can't do anything. I did canceled the subscription but was after Jeb on the chat late at night told me there was nothing they could do. I am not currently in my home and the meals package will not be accepted. A dispute has been filed with the bank about the charge. Again, this is a misleading way of dealing with customers, not notifying them of the next delivery or credit card charge. The weekly auto renewal is a deceptive practice, it forces you to go in their site very often to check deliveries, if you want to try the meals, order, then cancel the subscription, otherwise they will keep billing and sending meals, and it is expensive.

"Horrible company"

Horrible company. I'm not one to complain, but how would you all know that. But I'm not. I was purchasing meals for my 92 year old mother. It just didn't work out for her. The meals were decent. I got an email from Freshly to download their app. So I did. Unbeknownst to me, because of me downloading their app, my next order was doubled. So I had (have) a credit of $78.00. I have since cancelled my subscription, because like I said, it just didn't work out with my 92 year old mother. I have been arguing for weeks to receive a credit. Freshly simply will not. A reputable company? I'm furious. They have no problem deducting $$$ from my credit card - how hard is it to put it back in? This is truly absurd that this so-called reputable company will not reimburse me - whether it was my mistake or not. Do NOT do business with them. There are many other places to buy your food. Watch your back.
