"The mission newel post I ordered came…"
The mission newel post I ordered came well packaged and very well made. It's solid and the parts are put together with no gaps. I ordered the large 7" base one and it was a lot taller than I realized but it's fine. The quality of the hard maple was top notch. The knewl attachment block also arrived just fine. It doesn't have any top down holes to put a socket and lag bolt into down from the top. I'm able to screw into it from the bottom with two lag bolts so it's ok. If you need to go from the top you may need to use a large drill bit used for pulling electical cables to give you a socket hole. Great craftmanship and glad it's American Made..

"Maple Stair Railings- 8ft & 12ft."
Good people to deal with. Product is great. Ordering process went smoothly. Would suggest better shipping details ie. provide tracking number and approximate ETA. Minor damage to end of box with only slight 'scuff' marks on the end of the 12ft. rail. Should sand out quite nicely.
